Our Story

Join the global community of visionary women who are dedicated to celebrating and amplifying African culture, innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

Women embracing at Ad-frican gathering

My name is Bukky Ojeifo, and I am a cultural marketer and brand strategist who has built my career helping brands unlock their unique value proposition with audiences of color. I operate  at the intersection of culture, innovation, strategy, and partnerships and build every strategy from data. Analyzing data helps me uncover insights, and I use those insights to fuel BIG ideas, breakthrough campaigns, and  connection between brands and people.

Some of the most impactful and fulfilling work I have had the honor to lead has been bridging opportunities across Africa and the Diaspora. Yet whenever I turned to global data engines to quantify African perspectives and experiences, I hit a wall. Those experiences were not recognized. Instead, they were flattened into monolithic labels that erased nuance, diversity, cultural richness, and the hard numbers that validate impact. Even when the data could not validate it, I could see it clearly. I KNEW women in advertising, marketing, and business who were powerfully shaping Africa while leading quietly and masterfully. I was proud of their work, proud to know them, and proud to support them.

And then the thought came: How much more powerful could we be as a Collective? Intentionally gathering our voices, our influence, and our leadership in continuing shaping the unfolding beautiful story of Africa's global impact.

That question sparked the vision for The Ad-frican Women’s Collective: a global network created to honor, elevate, and connect African and Diaspora women who are shaping culture, business, and storytelling on the world stage. Together we champion visibility, collaboration, and impact, turning numbers into narratives and connections into opportunities.

Our story is still being written, and I invite you to join me in building a community that honors, elevates, and connects African and Diaspora women across the world.
